That is a must have feature. The best way to back up data is to keep it somewhere online and I do not think it is wise to put an unencrypted document database online.  Lack of encryption seriously restricted the usefulness of the system.

I agree. I would like to be back on at least 1 on the newly split items. But even better would be to mimic Quicken and how they handle splits. In the split popup, category, memo, amount. Adjust button... Then go back to 1 seemless looking transaction with the full amount and category saying "Split" grayed out.

Regarding the Twain driver bug, apparently the problem that I reported only happens under certain conditions or with certain settings that I haven't yet been able to isolate.  After returing to the default twain driver settings and using the B/W scanning tab, the NeatReceipts twain driver was able to scan into Microsoft Imaging ok.  ...
