I also have many problems with the program. It doesn't crash but it lags after I use it for a little while and I can't seem to do anything else on the computer while it is running. I'm running 10.4.11 but the problems with the application seem to span 10.4 and 10.5. Do you see a the "Generating PDF" ...

I had to contact technical support to disable the spotlight feature of neatreceipts which doesn't seem to work on my computer. I haven't had the searching problem but I know there are problems with integration with Spotlight. Does your Spotlight still work? Mine was completely disabled with the install of NeatReceipts.

Make sure you're not going through a USB hub - plug the scanner in directly to the computer. This didn't help the problem of the fields not being auto-filled, but it definitely fixed the scanning problem. I'm guessing the auto-fill problem is a different bug altogether.

Any reason why the software locks up on close every time? It opens fine, works great, scans great,etc.
But every time I quit the program it locks up and I have to do a Force Quit. I've tried Quit from the Menu with the library open; I've tried closing the library and then quitting...still hangs for a while. Maybe it's doing something ...

After the first scanning a receipt the program goes through it's routine of recognizing the scan and then indicates it is constantly "Generating PDF" even though the image has appeared and I can edit it and fill the fields. I tried restarted and the problem still happens.
I'm running a PowerMac G5 dual 2.0GHz.

When I scan I get an error message saying "zero length data" with an ok button. No image appears and all of the fields are blank. What gives?
