  • Re: Interfacing with Quicken or EXCEL?

I really look forward to exporting to Quickbooks for the Mac.  I love the product!  Thank you for the release of the Mac version.  I too look forward to the updates.

  • Quickbooks Guide

Jenn, As a person who relies heavily on NR and QB for business, I'd really like to start trying out NR with my financial platform. However, QB has a massively difficult import feature when reconciling against the general ledger. Could one of you guys at NR put together a simple "how to" using screenshots and instructions on using NR ...

  • Tax Line Assignment for S-Corp

Jenn, (or whomever gets this that can answer it) I was talking a customer through some integration ideas today for quickbooks and neatreceipts, as opposed to Quicken and neat receipts. One of his comments was that there was no tax-line assigment for categories related to S-Corp businesses. I know they have Schedule-C information for personal ...

  • Re: Quickbooks export needs a lot of work

I agree, QuickBooks interface is nearly useless as is.  Another issue I have is being able to assign Customer/Job info to each receipt.  I can assign "client" info in NeatReceipts but because of the GL export, GL transactions in QuickBooks do not have Customer/Job field!  So, I'm in the same boat...spent a ...

  • Re: Help Exporting to Quickbooks

Hi, Jenn.  When I exported a folder of receipts directly to Quickbooks, each receipt showed up in my Reimbursable Expense account as I directed.  However, I don't know how to pull those into my Invoice to the customer to get reimbursed.  The idea is to input my receipts with NeatReceipts so I can e-mail them along with my ...

  • Bank Statements & Credit Card Statements

Is there a way to scan in Bank and Credit Card statements and have the individual items recorded?  This would save a lot of time of data entry for bookkeepers all around!  I started using NR, but haven't yet downloaded into QB - is there a way to do that with out a lot of problems?  I noticed a couple of people posting about ...

  • Quickbooks export needs a lot of work

So, I am a veteran QuickBooks user, and was pointed at NeatReceipts to help in alleviating all the paper of receipts, but also was recommended to NeatReceipts because it claims to "…work in parallel with these programs (to) help eliminate data entry for them."  Well, it doesn't really help in that way, at all, ...

  • Re: How does this work with Quickbooks?

Hi Andrew, Below is information on how NeatReceipts interacts with Quickbooks. General Overview NeatReceipts exports transactions to Quickbooks as General Journal entries.  During the export process, the user must select a debit account and a credit account from their Quickbooks Chart of Accounts.  The debit account can be thought of ...

  • Re: Exporting to QuickBooks Pro

Unfortunately NeatReceipts to QuickBooks field mapping is not possible at this time.  The cost information will need to be assigned to the "Customer: Jobs" field manually.  However, improvements to the QuickBooks mapping are underway.  Will keep you posted.
