    I would be interested in that answer - I can't find a setting in the application.   I just started using NR, have scanned in total 47 documents and the database is already 89MB in size. The backup is 20MB in size. That is almost 2MB per document! Wondering whether the DPI is set too high? Where can I change this?   Thanks, BB

  • Poor print quality

    I have some documents that I needed to print back out to submite to work.  When I print them [File] [Print] * Selected images The are barely ledgable, but they look fine on screen even when zoomX500%. Anyone have any luck printing out receipts / Documents you have scanned?

    Hii Mike,   I am running 2.8 and I'm having the same problems as the original poster.  Are there any instructions you can provide for those of us on 2.8?  I have a lot of receipts to scan now that it is the end of the year, and really want this unit to start working again. Thanks, Warren

    Hi Jenn, Why am I not finding any way to adjust the image?  Is this a feature available only with certain software versions?  I am running the most current version 3.0.4 (upgraded from the 3.0.3 that I purchased in box).  I thought if I calibrated the image would show up better.  But in fact the image became even ...

    Mike: Thanks for the heads up.  I did just this tonight. Will test it out tomorrow when I get to work and get my hands on my scanner.  Was this a bug that was fixed?   Will reply tomorrow to advise if this cured my large doc. scanning error issue.   Scanned three rather large (long) receipts with NO problems!  Hope ...

    I just started getting the same error.  It displays when the page has passed through the scanner, and it is processing the information.  I started getting the error after the upgrade to 2.7.5.  Sometimes after the error, I need to re-scan the page.  Sometimes it closes the program.  Any ideas?

  • Disappointed in Smart Sorting Results

    I just installed a new Neat Receipts with 3.0 a few days ago, and thought it was doing great, until tonight when I scanned in 127 cash receipts from the past several months. Out of 127 receipts, most from either Kroger or Walmart, more than HALF of the receipts did not have a Vendor name! Plus, I've already discovered other errors ...

  • Amount field defaulting to $299.99 on every scan.

    For the first 5 or 6 months the software was working fine, then occasionally the amount field would appear as $299.99 no matter what the actual amount was.  Lately it has been every scan.  I am guessing that something in the database is causing the problem but I don't know where to look or how to find it.  Anyone having similar ...

    I can see how to split receipts; and how to import & append to current image.  How do I scan and append to current image? For example, when I set the scan to 3 when I really needed to scan a fourth page.
